Call for workshop ideas

The "5th EPCN Conference" will be the opportunity to share opinions on specialized topics through interactive workshops. Already four workshop propositions have been made by the EPCN:

  • Pond and local culture – Coordinator: Andrew Hull
  • Pond policy, the wider freshwater environment and the Water Framework Directive – Coordinators: Jeremy Biggs and Laura Serrano
  • Pond landscapes – trends and needs in pond research (ecology, typology, ecological assessment, global impacts) – Coordinator: Thomas Kalettka
  • Practical conservation of ponds – creation, management and policy (success stories, effects of freshwater policy) – Coordinators: Pascale Nicolet and Thomas Kalettka
